Sue watched our cat Girl for two weeks while we were gone on our honeymoon. She was very communicative, sending us multiple pictures a day, and when we got home Girl was just as happy as when we left. We knew from the minute we met Sue that she was the right person to watch our cat -- she's an animal lover and we could tell in the way Girl interacted with her from first meeting. She also took care of things like bringing in the mail, opening/closing blinds, and taking out the trash. When we need to leave Girl again we will definitely be calling Sue first. Adam A

We are so pleased to have found Sue to care for our 3 14-year-old kitties. In the past we have been lucky to have caring family members look after them but because the kitties are aging we wanted to make contact with someone who would know them if the need for special diets and meds should arise. Sue definitely can do all that. She made the initial meet and greet and completely won over our skittery Trudy instantly with her calm voice. In fact, as I saw in another review, Trudy goes to the door now when there is someone there---as do the others. A total new behavior. I'm certain they are looking for Sue. Sue has a gift! Words can't express how much I love my beautiful boy Pippin. I was nervous to leave him for a week. Sue took excellent care of him. She even left me recommendations on a different diet for him. She sent me a picture of him every day, which comforted me while I was away. The last several months Sue has been helping me care for my beloved dog Barkley. She gave him IV Fluids for his Kidney Disease as well as other meds. We found Pets Love Sue through a couple of different avenues actually, Nextdoor & Yelp. Our fur babies had such a great experience. Sue did a meet and greet a few weeks prior to the scheduled care and we were able to review our needs. We felt so much better being able to have someone check on the house while we were on vacation, but also that our sweeties, Maggie & Arthur were able to stay in the comfort of home while we were away. We are able to compare our wonderful experience with Pets Love Sue, with the so-so experience we have had in the past with boarding the cats at another place.
Our two cats were clearly happy and at ease when we came home. They had been very well cared for and, dare I say, spoiled with love! Sue came two times a day for feeding, as we only feed wet food due to diet. One kitty had been having problems with hairballs and it acted up while we were on vacation, but Sue went out of her way to not only ask if she could do a over the counter treatment, but she purchased it and made sure the mess was cleaned up. She treats your furry children as if they are her own. We were sent photo updates each day we were away as well.
We also found her rates to be very reasonable and less expensive than boarding. Included in the visits, she brought in our mail, handled the curbside service for the garbage cans, rotated lights to turn on and off, etc.

She sent me updates every day and told me how she perceived he was feeling. It is great to see such empathy (or is it sympathy? I never know) in a pet sitter.
She also minds the house:
-You can be reassured your plants will live. Mine did. Despite my best efforts to kill them myself, she helped them survive until I got back.
-She takes in the mail
-She can turn lights off & on as you request for when she is not at the house
-She lets you know if anything is amiss

Sue just cared for Simon (the cat with Paul Newman eyes) for over two weeks, coming to my house daily. He is generally a bit skittish with new people, but he liked Sue right away.
